Client Liaison Assistant (Grade 11) – 1 POST

 

Duties And Responsibilities


 

Planning, developing and implementing Public Relations strategies
Liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations
Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
Collating and analyzing media coverage
Writing, designing and editing in-house magazines, speeches and other necessary articles
Preparing and supervising the production of publicity materials, brochures, handouts, leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes
Organizing events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours
Maintaining and updating information on the Council website Engaging the publics on social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp etc
Preparing speeches for Councilors and Senior Council staff Preparing adverts for television, radio, newspaper publications
and notice boards
Maintaining of the Advert book by the Client Liaison and
Any other duties as assig Committees Officer

Qualifications And Experience


 

Bachelors degree in Communication, Media Studies or equivalent
At least 2 years work experience in Public Relations or related field Computer literacy a must
Ability to bring the organization closer to its stakeholders Excellent analytical & writing skills.
Self-motivation, enthusiasm and ability to work under own initiative.
Ability to use Corel Draw, Photoshop, Illustrator or any other designing software
Basic knowledge in video, photo shooting and editing
Ability to create, maintain and enhance the reputation of the organization.
Ability to prepare an event wise media plan
Ability to build trust between Council and its stakeholders Strong communication ability
No criminal record
A clean record of service
