Lectureship/Senior Lectureship/Associate Professorship (4 Posts) : Department of Accounting

Job Summary


 

The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite qualifications, skills and experience for the following posts in the Department of Accounting: –

 

Duties And Responsibilities


 

The successful candidates will be expected to teach the following modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels: Advanced Financial Accounting, Advanced Auditing, Advanced Taxation and Management Accounting. Further, they will be expected to research and supervise students in their areas of expertise.

Qualifications And Experience


 

Applicants must have a PhD in Accounting/Finance/Information Systems or be a Chartered Accountant, a Masters in Accounting and Finance and a good honours degree in Accounting/
Information Systems passed with at least 2.1 or better. A professional qualification such as CIMA, CPA and ACCA and experience working in the industry and or considerable experience in teaching in an institution of higher learning would be an added advantage.
