(i) Procurement Officer (Grade 10) – 2 POSTS

 

Duties And Responsibilities


 

Duties and Responsibilities
Maintaining procurement records
Assisting in the procurement of goods and services in line with the procurement regulations
Reviewing and analysing all vendors/suppliers
Implementing plans for purchasing of equipment services and supplies
Preparing and processing requisitions, sourcing quotations and purchase orders for Council
Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

 

Qualifications And Experience


 

Qualifications and attributes
Degree or Higher National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management from a recognized institution
At least three years’ experience in a related post
Membership of a professional body an added advantage Being conversant with Promun System an added advantage
Clean Class 4 driver’s licence an added advantage
Be computer literate
Must have a knowledge of Excel
Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
